Google's drive.file scope limits access to files created by this app or explicitly shared with it.
Google Drive OAuth app
A private off-site backup for one server.
videhs-server-backup-restic copies encrypted backups from the operator's self-managed server to that operator's Google Drive. It is not a public backup service and has no public sign-up.
The app requests Google's drive.file permission so it can create and manage
the backup files it uses. It does not request access to the operator's entire Drive.
Protection
Encrypted before upload
The backup repository is encrypted on the server with restic before rclone sends it to Google Drive.
Operator
Not a public service
The backup is managed by its operator. Other people should not authorize this app.
